Iranian Petroleum Institute Certification Body, referred to herein as “IPICB“, has been operating as an independent third-party organization for the certification of products in the petroleum and related industries since 2017, following the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012. Subsequently, IPICB established a process for certifying management systems in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and for certifying individuals based on the ISO/IEC 17024:2012.

All processes at IPICB are organized and implemented by trained personnel and qualified subcontractors.

As an effective certification body, IPICB focuses on learning and sharing information to meet the expectations of clients and other stakeholders. IPICB is dedicated to improving service quality, maintaining independence, ensuring impartiality, and safeguarding confidentiality in all activities and duties.

In this policy, IPICB expands its business by providing consistent and flexible services that meet our clients’ needs, while maximizing its potential in the markets IPICB serves.

Management and personnel create and implement various certification schemes for the chain of suppliers with input from experts, while adhering to appropriate professional principles and maintaining independence, confidentiality, and impartiality toward all clients.

Management and personnel have provided all necessary information to the public to foster a non-discriminatory environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. They have also committed to investigating complaints and appeals in a fair manner.

Management and personnel are committed to implementing all requirements of standards established by IPICB, as well as the statutory and regulatory requirements established by the Ministry of Petroleum and other relevant regulatory bodies.

IPICB has established its main objectives based on the following:

  1. Assessing manufacturers and evaluating the knowledge and experience of technical and inspection personnel in the petroleum, gas, and petrochemical industries.
  2. Enhancing the agility of IPICB and improving service provision.
  3. Expanding and acquiring international accreditation for conformity assessment activities.
  4. Empowering and professionally developing personnel and subcontractors.
  5. Maintaining the highest level of customer trust and increasing customer satisfaction.
  6. Protecting and developing the certification market.
  7. Continuous improvement

This policy has been approved by the Director of IPICB and is understood by all its personnel. Furthermore, all activities of IPICB are planned in accordance with this policy. To ensure continuous improvement, this policy and the associated goals will be reviewed and monitored annually. The Director of IPICB will provide the necessary resources to achieve these goals.
